Our lives at risk…..Systah Sylvia

Moten John told me he first met Sister Sylvia when she applied for entry into the his program. She was a young mother, perhaps twenty three or so. Dressed in Muslim proper from her head to her feet she was stunning, Mr. John told me. He said he had never  seen a woman totally clothed that captured his imagination so completely.

His program was a sliver that was left from the “War against Poverty” that was declared circa 1964 by the Johnson administration to offer pacification for the “civil rights” movement.

The great tennis being played today was very much on display and  appreciated for its intensity and brilliant shot making in the recent tournament.

Novak Djokovic is a great player. A sharp strategist and a deft shot  maker , he marches through his opponents this year, taking no prisoners.

On task to deliver the first Grand Slam  in years,he has shown dedication, persistence and a committment to playing with all he has to win a point..In his  most impressive year, he has defeated the best in the sport.

Health…The Arena that ultimately defines the quality of our life

We, being humans, are mortal. There is always the unknown factor that can hasten the termination of our life. The lightning bolt probably is a well known example. Accidents, murders  and natural disasters all weigh in heavily here.
The opportunity to live and be a part of the creation and enjoyment of tomorrow for other lives is a good thing. So our lives can be taken seriously not only for our own plans and dreams but also knowing our life and each life is important if not vital to others.

Being “healthy” is not really difficult to define for all human beings. It provides the opportunity to keep living while “unhealthy” clearly does not. There are many aspects to fulfilling that expression towards healthy but keeping it simple, we will focus on just a few and try to leave somethings up to individual choice.
